Stupidest Man Alive Contest The Opinionator - TNR%u2019s Mea Culpa on Healthcare - New York Times Blog

Chris Suellentrop enters Charles Krauthammer into the Stupidest Man AliveTM contest:

The Opinionator: Has Charles Krauthammer become pessimistic about the American project in Iraq? The conclusion of his Washington Post column says there is only "one hope for success in Iraq": "an effective, broad-based national unity government that, during its mandatory four-year term, presides over an American withdrawal..."

Yes, after four and a half years of what Charles Krauthammer has told us over and over again is George W. Bush's flawless brave and bold leadership, he now says that we have but one--totally unrealistic--hope for success in Iraq.

What state does Charles Krauthammer think we would be in if we hadn't been lucky enough to have a leader like George W. Bush?
